Our Local Impact: Serving Melbourne’s Community
Right here in Melbourne, we bring the Lions Global Causes to life through practical, hands-on service.
Aged Care & Community Support
Our members regularly visit and support aged-care facilities, including ongoing donations to the On Luck Chinese Nursing Home, bringing care, companionship and support to our seniors.
Environmental Care
From participating in National Tree Day planting activities to hosting street stalls promoting environmental awareness, we actively encourage practical action for a greener future.
Youth Development
We empower the next generation through Leo Club activities, the Lions Youth of the Year program, and the Peace Poster Contest.
Multicultural Engagement
We promote community connection and understanding through cultural celebrations and multicultural activities, including events at the Chinese Museum.
Fundraising Initiatives
Our fundraising activities help make our service possible. From our Annual Charity Gala to community favourites such as the Bunnings BBQ Sausage Sizzle, funds raised directly support community projects and Lions causes locally and beyond.
